Rodders has two sides. One is free for clubs and individuals, the other is commercial for automotive businesses. At present we’re preparing to launch a range of benefits for car clubs and car enthusiasts, as well as a business-to-business digital marketing service for hot rod, street machine, and classic car related businesses. These will come on stream early 2016. We have announced the SEMA trip ahead of the other services to give as much notice as possible for people wanting to attend.
SEMA fits with our goal of creating value for automotive business owners
We’ve seen that business owners in the automotive industry are a dedicated group of people who are passionate about the motor industry. They work hard, but often getting a break away from the business, particularly to attend an industry conference like SEMA, can be too difficult to arrange.
Our goal is to help our automotive clients increase their business income and have more fun doing it. The SEMA trip is a business expense that will provide exposure to the latest aftermarket technologies and products, and be a great experience shared with like-minded people at the same time.
Smaller automotive businesses benefit from digital marketing.
The reality is that many smaller automotive businesses don’t have a significant online presence.
Rodders Limited was created following 10ys experience in the digital marketing sector with our other company Real Digital Limited. We saw that the big car brands, and large dealerships and workshops all invest significantly in digital marketing, but many smaller businesses in the automotive industry don’t use the internet to grow their businesses all that well.
Many wrongly assume that they can't afford it because they aren't generating enough revenue, when in fact it's often exactly what they need in order to generate more revenue. A marketing budget should be a percentage of revenue, which returns a profit, not a cost that reduces the bottom line. The value we bring to our clients is that we talk in plain English, and we understand the challenges of running a small business. We help our clients learn about how to use the internet to their business advantage, so it's no longer a mystery that they feel they know little about.
It was an obvious step to establish Rodders Ltd, and offer marketing assistance to business owners who share our passion for cars, particularly those involved in building, restoring and modifying older cars.
